| Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian TV and film actress for more than 20 years. Her films include The PianoFly Away Home, and X-Men. It was fate that took over. She didn't plan to become an actor, but it did. In order to stay focused in her studies she declined numerous jobs due to the popularity of her debut movie. After a successful debut film, at age 14, she was approached for roles in Jane Eyreand the series Fly Away Homefilm. The year 2000 saw her play Roguethe strong mutant Roguein X-Menthe X-Menfilmseries. Her role on catapulted to international fame. In X2 and X-Men The Last Stand, she reprised her Rogue role. Then she received a flood of requests to appear in television series and was eventually cast for shows such as True Bloodand Flack. |
